Over 2700 students can start their studies in September at six faculties of the Semmelweis University. Around a quarter of the freshmen are foreigners: over 450 students will study in English and almost 270 in the German program. The students swore an oath in three languages at the opening ceremony of the 248th academic year of the university which was also attended by the students and leaders of the new András Pető Faculty. Following the tradition, the ceremony ended with the performance of the Medic Orchestra.
